WEB 2.0 & video podcasts
Phil
I would like to point you towards the WEB 2.0 stuff it is coming up a lot on the newsgroups and it will have implications for what we are doing in the future. We really need to stay ahead of this stuff.
The applications are for the most part free and very simple to use. It is the way that people are preferring to communicate online right now.
Go to this site for a list of the free apps and links to them
http://www.shambles.net/web2/
also I have been using Writely (one of those free word processors) to collaborate with Sue and Steve over planning documents.
We can all work on them at the same time and it’s a bit like Macs app SubEtherEdit (go to codingmonkeys.com)
There is a blog to discuss web2.0 stuff at
http://edu.blogs.com/ edublogs/
Also
Can we video podcast the Code Breakers intro trailer soon and I would like the Rap around football Extended Learning project movie to also be done.
Cheers and keep up the good work
